The Code Enforcement Officer supervises all building and zoning codes in the Village.

Complaints

To act on a complaint, it must be filed by a someone other than the Code Enforcement Officer. Examples of complaints are overgrown lawn, trash in yard/curb and keeping of farm animals. For proper documentation, we ask complaints to be in written form.

For those permit requests where the homeowner is doing the work him/herself, and who then require a Workers' Compensation exemption immediately, please access the online application

The Palmyra Village Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board combined in 2016 and meets on the second Thursday of each month, as needed, at 7:00pm in the Village Hall.
